On friday 15th september Brackley embarked on a short tour to Devon playing Newton Abbott, Torquay Victoria and Torquay Kings and returning home on monday 18th. Below is a report from Tour media manager Graham Prior. " We had a really good tour weather was great (showers bypassed us) hotel was good apart from having the fire alarm going off at 12:30am (false alarm) and half of the next day. Unfortunately we didn't win any of the games but we came 1st in the enjoyment stakes."
This is to advise you that our Open Evening to sign on for the coming winter season, is to be held on Friday 8th September at 8.00pm. The winter subscription remains at £60.00 and the leagues will start on Monday 2nd October. Also being handed out will be prizes for 2016/2017 indoor finalists ,Please come along and join us again for the indoor season.
On 21/8/17 Unfortunately Brackley men lost their final league game 2 -4 at Daventry and will be remaining in Division 2.
On 14/8/17 Brackley played their final home game against Roade and drew 3 - 3 in the NT League,next week they play Daventry A away and must beat them by 5 - 1 to get promotion to division 1.
On 12/6/17 Brackley men lost a close fought game in the NT League 55-56,[ 1-5] winning one rink and losing narrowly on 3 rinks. It was disappointing to come away only 1 point.
On 5/6/17 After a disappointing result against Roade in the Top club losing 2 -3, Brackley men gained their revenge against them in the NT League KO cup with a convincing 79 to 45 win,all rinks won apart from Dicky Somertons rink, which just managed to draw.They will now play Daventry `A` in the next round.
